Getting your character set up is easy, just follow these steps:
- Post a thread for your character here, in the Character Approvals category. An example of such a post and their requirements can be found below.
- Wait! Either a council member or someone in charge of character approvals will look over your post and character sheet when they've got the time. We're all volunteers, so please be patient.
- If your character is approved, congratulations. Your thread will be locked, and you have permission to create a character page and link it on the characters page. Your character page must link to your approval thread- this will be used to verify that your character has actually been approved.
- If your character isn't approved, there was something wrong with your character or post (perhaps it violated our character generation rules, or used disallowed material). You will be informed of whatever issues were present so you can adjust them, if you still want to get the same character approved. If you want to abandon your character, post a message to that effect in your thread and a moderator will delete it.
The rules for character creation and character pages can be found in the appropriate sections.
Your post should include:
- Your character's name
- A link to your character's complete character sheet (incomplete character sheets will never be approved)
- Optionally, information on your character's personality, appearance, and background
- Links to all material your character uses that isn't in the Pathfinder RPG Core Rulebook. You do not have to link individual maneuvers, powers, or spells (but we'd appreciate it if you did). If you can't link to a piece of material (for example, the material is not available online), list its name and source.
For example, a thread might look like this:
Title: Boris, Human Barbarian
Character SheetAppearance: Boris is of average height and has unremarkable features, aside from a perpetually angry scowl etched into his face.
Personality: Boris is willing to jump into any conflict at a moment's notice- especially if there's coin waiting for him on the other side. Outside of active battle he prefers brooding to celebrating and keeps a poetry journal.
Non-core Material
Invulnerable Rager Barbarian Archetype
Human with the Practiced Hunter alternate racial trait
Tribal Scars Feat
Raging Vitality Feat
Defensive Strategist Trait
Reactionary Trait
Bardiche Weapon
Spiked Gauntlet Weapon
Barbarian's Kit
Masterwork Backpack
Note From Admin: If a required resource is not part of the allowed material, it or a homebrew solution can be requested for consideration as normal.
