High Elves

High-elves, also known as "gray elves" or just "elves" to many people throughout the world were once the most successful and powerful of all the peoples of the worlds. Their magical abilities, unrivaled by anyone, allowed them to ascend from the earth and live in great magical cities in the sky. However, when they accidentally brought about the demon wars, their cities plummeted to the earth and they were left as outcast refugees with no homeland to call their own.

High Elf Racial Traits

  • Size and Type: High-elves are medium humanoids with the [Elf] subtype.
  • Ability Scores: +2 Dexterity, +2 Intelligence, -2 Constitution
  • Speed: High-elves have a 30 ft. base speed.
  • Low-light Vision: High-elves have low-light vision.
  • Elven Immunites: High-elves are immune to magic sleep effects and get a +2 racial saving throw bonus against enchantment spells and effects.
  • Elven Magic: High-elves gain a +2 bonus on caster level checks made to overcome spell resistance. In addition, they also receive a +2 racial bonus on Spellcraft checks made to identify the properties of magic items.
  • Elven Cunning: High-elves gain a +2 racial bonus on Perception, Spellcraft and Stealth. Additionally, Perception and Stealth are always class skills for them.
  • Elven Knowledge: Knowledge (any) is always a class skill for high-elves.
  • Elven Sorcery: High-elves can cast prestidigitation, light, and detect magic at-will as spell-like abilities, with a caster level equal to their level.
  • Weapon Familiarity: High-elves are proficient with simple and martial blades (such as short swords and longswords) and bows (including shortbows).
  • Languages: High-elves begin play speaking Common and Elven. Elves with high Intelligence scores can choose from the following: Celestial, Draconic, Gnoll, Gnome, Goblin, Orc, and Sylvan.
